Are you crazy? I have lived in Kolkata in 1980s. 8 hour power cuts. One small metro line. No IT jobs. Every family had a genset or a large chargeable light. An entire generation of Kolkattans needed classes due to.studying with lamps.Things could obviously be better.

Not factually correct.. Comrade Jyoti Basu fucked entrepreneurship in #Bengal long before #Didi could bury it in its entirety. For a port city to do this bad economically, it’s a damn shame. Today, companies prefer #Noida (or Gr Noida) over #Kolkata (despite port access).
