2021 I lost my Bro 2023 I lost my dad 2024 I lost my mom's A month later I lost my doggy after 11 years You don't move on.. Time does not heal It's on you to be strong, life is not fair

My 34-year-old daughter and only child died suddenly from pneumonia in January, and my puppy died two weeks later. The pain is palpable. Look after each other, my sweet girls 💕

Lost my Lab and best friend a year and half ago.. this is not a self pity post, but I’ve never been quite the same. There’s a certain void and a portion of unhappiness that’s always there, not dominating my days, but lurking

In Sept 2022 had to put down my dog alma then 2 weeks later lost my daughter then 3 weeks later lost my husband. Only thing that saved me from deep depression was my other 3 dogs who see me as their everything and I see them as I must keep going on for them. I believe dog= God.

This is obviously subjective to cultural norms around dogs. I dare say humans are not wired this way by default but we all react to a human death. By the way I couldn’t get out of bed for 2 days after my dog died.
