China has over 1,100 and generating over half of the world's electricity. They will do anything to generate more electricity this is the race and not net zero.

What is the point of spending all this time to get a ceasefire hopefully and then a negotiated end of the war only to see it re-spark up again in about six years, four years, three years? This woman lives on a culdesac where there are seven houses. Six of the seven neighbors are close and all their kids play outside together. The one neighbor can’t stand it. So, the rest of them decided to buy a basketball hoop and put it in the street to give the kids even more to do. 😂 I love seeing kids outside playing in my neighborhood. Would this bother you if every day you came home there were kids playing outside on your street?

Even with tariffs, it would take the U.S. decades, realistically 40 years, to rebuild the industrial base and the machine building capability needed to produce that level of robotics at scale, then stack enough volume to get true economies of scale. And for what, exactly. U.S. cars barely have a market outside the U.S. Meanwhile China builds for the world. As for the rest of the planet watching America’s tariff daydreams: couldn’t the world care less.
