There are certain positions in every organization that you cannot say, "I just got here." Being the Public Safety Minister is one of them. He has to go.

@AndrewLawton That portfolio is far too important for the safety of all Canadians to have someone so unfamiliar with the basics to be occupying the office of the minister.

A former CSIS or RCMP other police member is a much better fit for such a position, not someone with a strong allegiance for a foreign country, such as Sri Lanka, and zero knowledge of the portfolio. The Liberals CONTINUE to allow in unvetted immigrants, in fact, the immigrants PAY BUSINESSES to obtain low paying jobs, while YOU taxpayer subsidize their wages. It makes zero sense unless one is not serious about Canadian safety and security, which this government, and htis government has made it very clear they are not serious about it.

@AndrewLawton He's been an MP since 2015. It's shocking he didn't know the gun issue would be the focus of his 1st question period. In all his yrs he hasn't paid attention, and to then be too lazy even to get the Coles notes on the basics of the issue is just stupidity. He's out of his depth

@AndrewLawton Nobody is talking about the fact that Carney chose him, specifically. He could have chosen any other MP, and he chose that jackass. What does this say about Carney's judgement and fitness as PM?

@AndrewLawton The "I just got here" excuse definitely does not apply when you're attempting to bring sweeping legislation to restrict the rights of citizens. If you just got here, find your bearings before trying to pull nonsense like that.
