There are currently many truth distortion programs running in the collective consciousness that are meant to deceive well-meaning people if they don't have the proper discernment. The "Free Palestine" movement is one of them, capturing the hearts and minds of the naive. One thing I know for sure, is...

Elon Musk said the most important thing anyone has said this century. Musk: “I think we need to assume that life and consciousness is extremely rare, and it might only be us.” 13.8 billion years. Trillions of galaxies. Billions of trillions of stars. Not one signal from any of them. That silence is the loudest data point in human history. Musk: “The image in my mind is of a tiny candle in a vast darkness. A tiny candle of consciousness that could easily go out.” That is not poetry. That is a threat assessment from the only person on Earth building the response. Stars don’t know they burn. Black holes don’t know they consume. The universe has been running for 13.8 billion years with no awareness of itself. We are the only known point in all of that time and all of that space where matter woke up and understood what it was looking at. Every law of nature ran in complete silence for billions of years. Gravity pulled. Light traveled. Elements fused. None of it meant anything. Because meaning requires a mind. And there might only be one. Musk is not building rockets because he likes engineering. He is building an escape route for the only thing in the universe that knows the universe exists. If consciousness disappears, the stars keep burning. The physics keeps running. But the universe is no longer a universe. It is just matter moving through space with nothing to call it that. The most profound thing Musk said is not that the candle is small. It is that without the candle, there is no such thing as light or darkness. Just physics performing to an empty room for the rest of eternity. One man looked at that and said no.

Elon Musk just gave one of the most pro-humanity addresses you’ll ever hear — right in front of the Davos elites. It was inspiring. “We need to do everything we can to ensure that the light of consciousness is not extinguished.” Elon Musk said the mission of all his companies comes back to preserving and expanding human consciousness. MUSK: “the overall goal of my companies is to maximize the future of civilization.” “Like basically maximize the probability that civilization has a great future, and, to expand consciousness beyond Earth.” “So if you take SpaceX, for example, SpaceX is about advancing rocket technology to the point where we can extend life and consciousness beyond Earth, to the moon, to Mars, eventually to other star systems.” “I think we should always view consciousness, life as we know it, as as precarious and delicate. Because to the best of our knowledge, we we don’t know of life anywhere else.” “You know, I’m often asked, are there aliens among us?” “And I will say that I am one, but…they don’t believe me.” “I think if anyone would know if there are aliens among us, it would be me. And we have 9000 satellites up there, and not once have we had to maneuver around an alien spaceship.” “Bottom line is, I think we need to assume that life and consciousness is extremely rare. And it might only be us.” “And if that’s the case, then we need to do everything possible to ensure that the light of consciousness is not extinguished because we’re effectively, or the way I view it is, the image in my mind is of a tiny candle in a vast darkness, tiny candle of consciousness that could easily go out.” “And that’s why it’s important to make life multi-planetary, such that if there is a natural disaster or a manmade disaster on earth, that consciousness continues.”

If thought were independent of language, we wouldn’t have any use for language, because the whole point of language is to convey ideas. So it’s not independent, but it’s not the same thing as language. We know it’s not the same thing for many reasons. One of them is: how would children learn language to begin with if they were incapable of thinking until they had language? The way that language acquisition has to work is that children have some understanding of the world, of the objects around them, of the intentions of the people that they interact with, and they map them onto the sequences of sounds and gestures that they perceive. Also, we know that there are many forms of thought that are not linguistic, such as visual imagery, spatial cognition, and mental maps, all of which are specialties of Professor Tversky, who I’m sure will enlighten us about those. Even when it comes to the content of language, what we take away after the words have faded is the gist of language, not the words themselves. Within a few seconds after I stop speaking, or a few minutes after you’ve read something, you probably could not reproduce a single sentence verbatim, but hopefully you would come away with the content, the meaning, the gist. And one of the most robust findings in our field, cognitive psychology, is that long-term memory for gist is far more robust than memory for text itself. We know from studies of the brain that there are networks of language in the brain that are not the same as the parts of the brain that light up when people are thinking visually, thinking spatially, or thinking in terms of motion. Again, to go back to one of Professor Tversky’s specializations, we can imagine tying a shoe; we can imagine diving off a board. We have auditory imagery—a song can run through our head—and there are probably other forms of thought that we don’t even have names for. We also know that we sometimes struggle to put our thoughts into words. We write down a sentence, and we realize, no, that’s not what I meant, and rewrite it until the sentence comes out right. The manosphere’s most effective recruiting tool is the discovery that adults did not tell boys the whole truth about women. One reason young guys are drawn to the manosphere is that some of the information they find there is not really offered anywhere else. And some of it is directionally accurate. One thing these guys will say is that women are trained from a young age to be aware of what men can be like. "Men only want one thing, you have to be careful around guys, etc." And so, once girls hit puberty, they have this ambient awareness that men have certain motives and that they should keep their guard up. Boys, by contrast, are not always told the complete truth about what women can be like. They grow up thinking women are like Disney princesses who want nothing but kindness and generosity and empathy. Then a boy enters high school and sees the kinds of guys many girls are actually drawn to. Often it is not the super nice guy. Sometimes it's the bully, or the jock, or the guy who seems dominant and socially confident. If you are not prepared for that, and you are a naive teenage boy, the realization can send you in a very dark direction. You start thinking, “I have been lied to about women my whole life. What else have I been lied to about?” And from there, it is easy to conclude that there is an entire matrix of hidden truths you now need to see through and only the online influencers will show you the way.
