The territorial issue remains a relevant one. I think such complex issues can only be resolved at the level of leaders. But the main thing is that today we have the opportunity to discuss everything – security guarantees, Ukraine’s future, and the prosperity plan. We are talking not only about security guarantees, but also about economic guarantees for Ukraine – to recover and rebuild. We all understand the challenges that lie ahead once the war ends, and we are discussing them among ourselves. Our army must be strong, and for us this is a key security guarantee. The guarantees must be strong and clear. We must not fear any future challenges. It is also important that European colleagues joined us for the third part of our negotiations. We agreed that Ukraine, Europe, and the United States will meet in the near future.

Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni said that it is not possible to have just, lasting peace in Ukraine unless Kyiv gets guarantees that it will not be invaded again by Russia. She sees NATO as the best such guarantee. "Efforts are needed to lay the foundations for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, which will only come about if Kyiv is given adequate security guarantees to make sure it does not happen again, and European nations that feel threatened can feel safe," she said. "I have always said, and believe, that these security guarantees must be implemented within the context of the Atlantic Alliance because I think that this is the best framework to guarantee a peace that is neither fragile nor temporary, so that there is no longer the risk that Europe could fall back into the drama of war. The other solutions, as I have already said, seem to me to be more complex and frankly less effective," Giorgia Meloni added.

President of Czechia Petr Pavel: There won't be a solution for the war in Ukraine without the United States. And that's painful for Europe that the United States does play the key role. But that doesn't mean that Europe and European countries have to be aside from these efforts. This is about European security and future. And Europe has to take on more responsibility for European security, including with solving the situation in Ukraine.

The Iranians are telling people that they will never give up their nuclear material for American security guarantees because Trump is not honoring the security guarantees that America made to Ukraine when Ukraine gave up their nukes.

French intellectual and activist Bernard-Henri Lévi: "Of course we’re not ready. And thank God we have the Ukrainians. Thank God that in Europe there is an army that knows how to fight. Thank God there is an army in Europe capable of holding the line. We always talk about the security guarantees that the coalition of willing countries is going to give Ukraine. But the reality today is that it is Ukraine that is giving a security guarantee to Europe. But Putin’s Russia wants war." - Bernard-Henri Lévy 📹: LCI

BBC: Trump says you are the obstacle to peace. ZELENSKYY: Ukraine is not an obstacle to peace. Russia attacked us. We need clear conditions to end the war and reliable security guarantees so that the war does not start again. We do not want to live through this hell again.

🚨BREAKING: Zelenskyy – “U.S.-Ukraine security guarantees, 100% agreed.” Although he never said they signed anything at this point. “And we discussed all the aspects of the peace framework which includes, and we have great achievements, 20-point peace plan, 90% agreed, and U.S.-Ukraine security guarantees, 100% agreed. U.S., Europe, Ukraine security guarantees almost agreed. Military dimension, 100% agreed. Prosperity plan being finalized. And we also discussed the sequencing of the following actions. And we agree that security guarantees is a key milestone in achieving lasting peace. And our teams will continue working on all aspects,” - Zelenskyy said after the meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Peace in Ukraine “will only be just and lasting” if there are real security guarantees, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer tells me at Munich Security Conference. “One thing we know about Putin: if nothing sits behind it, he’ll go again, which is why we set up the coalition of the willing.”

US Secretary of State Marko Rubio on security guarantees for Ukraine: There's a lot of talk about security guarantees, and it's something that there's general agreement about now with the case of Ukraine. But those security guarantees involve the deployment of a handful of European troops, primarily French and the UK, and then a US backstop. But in fact, the security guarantee is the US backstop. And I'm not diminishing the fact that some countries in Europe are willing to place troops in a post-war Ukraine. What I'm pointing out is that is irrelevant without the US backstop. And the reason why you need such a strong US backstop is because our allies and our partners have not invested enough in their own defense capabilities over the last 20 or 30 years. Now, hopefully that's going to change. Hopefully that is changing.

This is what Ukraine's former nuclear shield looked like, which it gave up in exchange for security guarantees - for free, with nothing in return. And now one of the "security guarantors" is waging a full-scale war against Ukraine, while the other is demanding that it hand over territory and natural resources in exchange for further "security guarantees". Thank you america. Thank you trump.
