Spare me. The legislature had plenty of time to make it legal. They haven't, so we the people took matters into our own hands. If they cared about this issue, they would have made some laws last session. They knew this amendment was coming.

Except they haven't and they won't - they WANT it to be illegal because "the smell" or "we don't like the way they design their storefronts". Meanwhile, everyone else wants to take away power from the government that it has historically abused.

well, it is a cash cow for the state. If it passes, Florida won't be able to trap the poor into the 'system'. Do you know what the 'system' is? You don't want to fall into that trap without the financial means to defend yourself. Vote yes on 3, no on 4.

Early voting opens in Florida this week and I urge all Florida residents to carefully read Amendment 4 before casting your vote. If you read through all the language you’ll see this amendment would radically change the abortion landscape in Florida. We need to protect all lives and we can do it in a way that doesn’t create so many loopholes and uncertainties. Women deserve protection but so do babies. Please understand what you’re voting for and don’t be deceived by terms like “viability”, “health care providers”, and “notification”.

We need term limits for members of Congress. Florida has already certified a proposed amendment under Article V of the Constitution and other states are poised to follow suit. At the invitation of the U.S. Term Limits organization, I traveled today to encourage other state legislators to follow Florida's lead and pass a resolution to call for a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits. We will never turn our country around if we don't change the incentives in DC. Term limits are supported by huge majorities of Americans -- it's time to make it happen!
