Pakistani airstrikes in #Afghanistan have repeatedly killed innocent children, women, and civilians, without targeting even a single #TTP member. Despite PAK claims that the TTP operates from AFG, the 2,600-KM fence and numerous checkpoints along Durand have failed to prove this, as no TTP targets have ever been hit and only civilians have suffered. For years, the #Pakistan military has relied on creating crises to maintain its relevance, but it is clear that this issue cannot be solved through war. The real solution is dialogue with the Taliban in Afghanistan and with the TTP inside Pakistan. As Prof- Obaidullah Baheer has clearly explained, the claim that the TTP is based or led from AFG is baseless and only deepens the crisis.

Taliban Foreign Minister Calls Recent Dispute with Pakistan a Problem with “Pakistan’s Military Circles” Mullah Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban’s Foreign Minister, says that the recent dispute between the group and Pakistan is a problem between the Taliban and the military circles of the Pakistani government. Mullah Muttaqi claims that over the past four years, Pakistan has committed violations of Afghanistan’s territory. Yesterday on AJE Inside Story, I highlighted how the shutting down of crossings with Afg and the bombing of the country by Pak yet attacks continuing was an indicator that the TTP problem was internal. Pak bombings had not killed a single TTP figure and had only hit civilians 1/
