there are two things that get me about this sequence: the way euini's hand spasming out of control was animated, and how he says "i'm disappearing," when hiding was something that had once been a source of comfort and confidence for him #whaanimespoilers

Ethan Hawke says he found Robin Williams hiding alone in the dark on the Dead Poets Society set “Even at 18 I was aware of the complexity of his emotional life” “I’ve had a lot of depression in my family, and it was obvious to me that all that power and that charisma came at a certain cost” “It’s a deeply, deeply sensitive person who was highly attuned to the energy of a room” “I remember once he was making up lines and everybody’s laughing, everybody’s praising him, and then I went to get a glass of water, get a bagel or something” “And I saw him hiding in a little corner. He was hiding in the dark by himself” “Okay, it makes a lot more sense to me now, actually. It was a lot. It was taxing” “There’s a lot of stories about clowns, and the happiness that they give and at what cost” Interviewer: “How much that takes out of them” Ethan: “The end of his life does not define his life to me. When I watch the movie, I think of the spirit of the man that I knew on those days, and how powerful it was, and how much he weathered that storm of his own psyche for us and for other people” “And I admire him tremendously. You know, there aren’t two of him”

Joshua Macin says he released hundreds of worms, and he has the photos to prove it. Before any of those worms came out, his US parasite test told him he was completely clean. He didn't believe it. His gut was destroyed and something was clearly living inside him. When he finally treated himself the right way, the first thing to come out was a roundworm the size of an earthworm. He says that was the death that had been inside him. Then came hundreds more. Macin says we are told parasites are a third world problem and that we are cleaner here. He says that is a lie. They are just as common in America, and our tests are too broken to catch them. — Josh Macin (Josh Macin) on Mikhaela Fuller's (Mikhaila Peterson) podcast

The best part of the #StarMagicxGMMTV game was seeing #neo_neos's smile never disappearing throughout the entire thing 🥹 I'm so happy that he finally got to experience the Filipino crowd that ForceBook and Pakin had once gotten him hyped up for I really wish I could have been there. Six years since I first became a fan of his and I haven't seen him in person even once — and the two times I had the best opportunity to do so, the first one got cancelled and the second one I was (AM!!) out of the country. I wish I could have been there with a handmade banner and cheering for him.

Watching this clip actually made me feel a lot better. Even though #JAMES was crying and trying to hold back his tears, I really think they were tears of happiness. The way he looked out at the fans and smiled… I could really feel how happy and touched he was, and how grateful he was for all the love he was getting. Honestly, just seeing that is enough for me. No matter what was going through his mind at that moment, I just want him to know that so many people love him and are always there cheering him on. I just want him to be happy and have nothing but good things come his way. And even when things get tough, I hope he’ll always have the strength to get through them. I’m so, so proud of you, JAMES 🥹❤️

Steve Kerr explains that Phil Jackson taught him the way to coach talented players is to get out of their way “The way Phil coached Dennis really was the key to everything. It really informed me about what coaching was about.” “Phil demanded certain things of Dennis and then got out of his way. I saw how powerful that was.” “The idea of giving someone a vision and then letting them go. Then occasionally reining them back in. Show them the vision again. Letting them go again. That’s powerful. To me, that’s coaching. Because these players are artists, man. They’re so gifted at this level.” “If you’re going to call every play and try to orchestrate everything, you’re overthinking things. You’re not letting the players be who they really are.” “The way Phil handled Dennis was genius. Dennis was so excited to be part of the team, and he was so different. He connected with guys in strange ways. He wouldn’t say anything for a week.” “But there was just an energy from him where you knew, ‘That’s a good dude.’ You could tell he had a good soul. He was vulnerable in that way. He allowed you to see his soul and what he was about.” “But he didn’t communicate a whole lot. So you had to understand him. You had to get to know him a little bit.”

Whoa. Jim Breuer says that his old friend Dave Chapelle went to him in private and told him about how an elite group of people came to him and sat him down to "correct him" and that was right before he suddenly vanished and went to Africa. He says he no longer communicated with him say in the same way after he came back and wonders what really happened... Who visited him? I'd be curious to hear the names. "He came there and he was freaked out. He was visited. And when he told me who visited him. My heart stopped for a second. I'll never forget. He went, you believe me right? They came to me..He said the names.. I said what happened? And then all of a sudden he went to Africa... But I know for a fact that he was corrected. Hey, we need to have a conversation. When I saw him come back... It was a lot less communication. And maybe he just grows, whatever. Maybe I'm crazy for saying this. When I saw him completely come back I really questioned if that was him. I know that's crazy..." Jim Breuer Roseanne Barr

Monty Williams says Brandon Roy was on Dwyane Wade’s heels “Back then, it was Kobe and Dwyane Wade — the hallmark two guards. Wade is a monster and doesn’t get enough credit for how good he was. People don’t talk about him the way they should. But I dare say Brandon, on some nights, was on Wade’s heels and maybe some nights ahead of him. That was the stretch he had. He wasn’t in Kobe’s world, but dog on man, he was headed that way.” (via Run Your Race Podcast)

Had three separate meetings today that inspired me to post this this evening. The amount of things that people try to control every day that is uncontrollable because we are not in control of other people. We are in control of how we act to their actions. Once that becomes something you understand, you start the process of actually “controlling things”

🔥WOW…Harpole talks about THE SHOT TYLER ROBINSON TOOK that killed Charlie Kirk at UVU on 9/10. "IT IS A VERY SPECIFIC SPOT" - Shawn Ryan Brian Harpole says "He wants to know when he got on the roof. 3 meters to the left & to the right..THERE WAS NO SHOT. DID YOU GET ALL THAT OF GOOGLE?" Shawn Ryan says "IT HAD TO HAVE BEEN REHEARSED." Harpole also says that someone early that day had a drone up but it is not UNCOMMON for the AV team to use a drone. Once again a lot of this goes back to relying on the Chief of UVU and the belief that they had those roofs covered. And like I said that day..how did they know the exact perfect spot for that shot when Charlie NEVER did an event there? When was the tent SETUP? This wasn’t announced to the public under about 8/29..so when did he scout this? Did he go before? How was he lucky enough to know that THE UVU POLICE WOULD NOT cover that staircase. Why didn’t UVU ask for police assistance from Orem PD who are ALLOWED TO FLY DRONES?
