I believe Woods getting bulked up at the gym ruined his game. I worked with a friend who was so muscled he could barely swing a sledgehammer. Strong as hell though. But no flexibility Same reason Tim Tebow would never develop a smooth throwing motion

The lesson here is, no one is super human and Father Time is undefeated. It doesn't matter if you're the most fit guy out there. You're going to have back problems and decline in your physical abilities and your injury recovery time, by the time you're in your 30's.

However natural the game is, simple fact is we weren't designed to spend all day on the range etc.

Tiger forgot the part where he downs four oxys and then bangs a waitress from the local diner he met while having lunch. And then his sleep routine: down four ambien, go to sleep, woken up by his wife who found a text from that waitress on his phone, ran from her while she chased him with a golf club, and then crashed his car ten yards from his house.

Two freak all-time top talents and love both. Not surprising Tiger is the one with 15 majors and John with arguably the same level of talent "only" 2. Great thing about John is sincerely believe he has no golf related regrets.

Easy to see why Tiger woods body broke down when he was barely into his 30’s.
