Companies like Flock are driven by profit and in order to compete for contracts they have to create more and more powerful surveillance tools so they can sell more of our data. As long as we live in a system driven by profit where private companies own and control our data there is no way to remove the dangers of ALPRs. That is why we are here today to call for a total ban on ALPRs in Chandler.
