UPDATE ON MARY CLAIRE. I’ve seen some people supporting Elvis Opiyo, and I strongly disagree. Such cruelty is inhumane and there can never be any justification for an acid attack. I want to be clear and in my own opinion we must stand with the victim and demand justice.

We will undoubtedly protect Ukraine and restore freedom throughout our country. We all believe that this will be a different Ukraine. The same borders. The same vibrant democracy. Ukraine will continue to be one of Europe’s most free nations. What there will not be is the old "business as usual" for those who have robbed Ukraine and placed themselves above the law and any rules. I thank Ukrainian law enforcement for taking action to deliver justice in every case that had been on hold for decades. The rule of law must prevail.
