Rostov, Russia ❗ ⛽️🫰Police seized 4.5 tons of diesel fuel and busted an illegal scheme at a gas station in Rostov! In the Kamensky district, 4.5 tons of diesel fuel, homemade fueling equipment, and two dozen canisters were seized from a local resident; he was selling the fuel at a higher price than market value. A criminal case under Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code is being considered. In Rostov-on-Don, a nighttime operator at a private gas station illegally sold diesel in prohibited plastic containers; an administrative case has been opened against her.

There is now not just a fuel shortage in Russian-occupied Crimea, there's basically no fuel at all. Local "authorities" have introduced coupons, QR-codes, other similar instruments, but the lines are long, and the fuel is absent. Just look at this line at a local gas station.

Aaron Boone was asked if he considered starting Jose Caballero at shortstop tonight and what he's made of Anthony Volpe's at-bats recently: "I felt like Volp went through a tough stretch there for a few weeks, a month. Feel like on the road trip, started to swing the bat well again, several in a row, and then has had a few games here where he's struggled. Offensively, just finding that consistency has been the challenge for him. It is something I considered, but also believe and hope that his best days are here for us down the stretch and hopefully on into October. We saw that last year from him, how good he was for us in October, so we know he's capable. We've got to help him get there and just find more consistency. That's been a challenge."
