@UNLazzarini @euronews This is true. But there is no right that UNRWA, an organisation that has been demonstrated to have been infiltrated at best by Hamas, and directly involved in diverting aid to them, has any role to play. And that is your real problem isn’t it?

Our policy from the beginning of the war was to ensure that the basic humanitarian needs of the civilian population in Gaza would be met. Israel has enabled a half million tons of humanitarian aid to get into Gaza, including 20,000 trucks of food. While Israel had paved roads and opened crossings so that this assistance could reach the people in Gaza, Hamas has stolen the aid, bombed the crossings and used Gazan civilians as human shields. Humanitarian aid must be allowed into Gaza NOW. Our Canadian Government needs to not only call, but to pressure for an immediate ceasefire and save civilians' lives. All human lives have an equal weight and peace should prevail.
