Dear Zimbabweans, the month of August 2026 will be very interesting in Zimbabwean politics and its religious nexus. The ‘prophetic’ claims by Uebert Angel, that he influences political events in Zimbabwe and beyond, to the extent of causing the death of political actors for the benefit of his preferred politicians, stand the stern test of time this August. Uebert Angel made a so-called prophecy, implying Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga would die this month. He said Chiwenga was walking dead. In the same infantile exuberance, he also boasted of having prophesied the death of war veteran Blessed Geza in November last year. Geza died in February this year. But Fellow Zimbabweans, let me tell you the background to the fetish plot to kill VP Chiwenga that Uebert Angel disguised as prophecy. Angel himself is involved in the plot to kill VP Chiwenga. This is information that those in intelligence circles know. Angel, in February 2025, wanted to entrap the Vice President by visiting him and give him ‘a prophecy’ that he was going to be the next president of Zimbabwe as a way of starting a succession discussion which Angel was going to record for President Mnangagwa. The idea was to entice the VP into stating, on camera, that he was working towards taking over from ED. The VP was tipped off and cancelled the meeting, the very Wednesday morning that Angel was scheduled to meet him. The plot then moved from entrapment to elimination. In May this year, Angel approached Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a Ghanaian witchdoctor, to kill the VP. Bonsam told him that if Chiwenga is not dead, he will definitely be the next president of Zimbabwe. To stop the Chiwenga presidency, Angel then solicited the Ghanaian to use his fetish powers to kill Chiwenga. Bonsam agreed to take up the task but asked Angel to provide him with a picture of the VP to facilitate the ritual killing. Angel supplied Chiwenga’s picture and Bonsam promised to accomplish his assignment by mid-August. Bonsam demanded US$30 000 to kill VP Chiwenga and has already been paid. The so-called prophecy was then made so that if Bonsam succeeds in killing the VP, the death would appear natural and Angel, by foretelling the death, would become the biggest prophet in Zimbabwe. Angel has already told President Mnangagwa not to worry about the threat of a Chiwenga presidency because his rival would be dead by mid this month. Angel believes if he pulls through the Chiwenga elimination, he can re-endear himself with Mnangagwa after he was infamously removed from the position of Ambassador at Large over his many controversies involving allegations of rape and improper association with different women. Those in the corridors of power know that Angel has been struggling to get back Mnangagwa’s favour and has been making controversial fake prophecies to prop up Mnangagwa to force himself back into reckoning. To support the Bonsam operation, Angel has been holding some death-cursing prayer rituals at Hippodrome church every Friday midnight to fast-track Chiwenga’s demise. Angel has so much faith in his Ghanaian fetish priest that he has told quite a few people that the VP will be no more by mid-August this year. He also boasts that Geza died after he paid the Ghanaian for his head and gave him his pictures. Some people close to Angel also claim that the self-styled prophet has been boasting that he did the same on the late Chipo Muyambo, a member of his church, who he allegedly turned blind first before killing her. Angel is always up to something. Right now, there is a South African girl, Shantel Skhosana, whom he had trafficked for sex, but his wife got wind of it and using her friends, got her framed and arrested. She was stranded at Chikurubi, pleading with Angel to rescue her and go back to his country. I attach here the letter the girl wrote to Angel. Two weeks ago, the girl was still hooked up at Chikurubi Maximum Prison over some immigration related offence, but the truth is she had been trafficked for sex by the Man of God.
