I think Josh is spot on here. There are many names in the stock market that retail isn’t talking about and there are many names that could have parabolic moves other than the semi stocks. When the market gets too focused on one certain sector, that leaves a whole bunch of sectors wide open for opportunity.

Howard Marks just gave a warning about the current stock market environment, boldly claiming we are in a stock market bubble Here's what he said: "It does seem that stocks are expensive relative to what I call fundamentals or you might call reality. The outstanding reason is that there hasn't been a serious market correction in 16 years. So people get out of the habit of thinking about market corrections. The biggest single mistake I've been thinking a lot - what is the biggest single mistake investors make? And I've concluded that it is that they conclude that the way things are today is the way it will always be. And the things that have been happening will always continue to happen. Whereas reversion to the mean is much more likely. So I just think that it's worked very well. Being an equity investor has worked very well. Doing it on leverage has worked even better. Concentrating in a few stocks has gone very well. Investors are by nature optimistic, and that optimism dies hard. Just did a quick video on a couple of the reasons I'm cautious on the market here and why I have not yet covered my $SPY short. With that said, cycle work shows a strong tendency to rally starting sometime in April/May. We are likely looking at a cyclical decline within an on-going secular bull market. However, every bear market starts as a pullback, and when the warning signs are present, I treat a pullback as a potential bear market and step aside until the smoke clears. The biggest warning sign currently is the way individual stocks are behaving and the distribution dominate tape we are seeing. Enjoy the video. I hope it brings some insight to my thoughts on the market.
