How is he ever going to get up to speed in the Championship if he never gets games? Evidently got good technical ability & an eye for a pass that not many in our squad have. Has to be given a fair shot in my opinion. Think it’s harsh to have a negative judgment on him already.

You might as well just openly say you hate every player that isn’t Welsh English or Scottish

Clueless lads, Yac looked a step above our midfielders every time he came on & Walta not getting starts of Widell who goes missing every game is silly. Walta needs a run of games to prove himself. If he doesn’t impress then fair enough. But needs the opportunity.

@scfcthomas Cullen had more xG than him because he played way more minutes 😂 Walta hasn’t had a chance to show what he can do if we are honest. Can’t judge him off 20-30 mins a game he needs to be playing consistently before we judge him

No idea how this many of our fans dont see how class Yalcouye was He will go to the top, one of the most press resistant players weve had in recent years despite his size, always wanted to get on the ball Didnt speak English and on loan which stopped him starting more often imo

There are parallels between Vipotnik and Walta’s first season Both showed technical ability but needed to adapt to the league Ive no doubt Walta can adapt just like vipi did He did far more against Birmingham than Widell did and deserves a run of games Also his set pieces are key

saying walta will be gone by jan is objectively a crazy take

You’ll get pelters for this but if another starting-calibre midfielder is signed and Franco comes back from injury, how does he get in the team?

Deal was always permanent, was only loan to buy, to help us with PSR at time. If club share your view oli, we’ve spent around 3m plus given a 3 year contract plus a one year option, to a player, that we may now have decided we only wanted for 3 months. Crazy logic.

So why are we signing the same type time and time again then?? Negligence if your a DOF not in tune with the manager

He has to play as a 10, that means two solid cm behind him. Stamenic and possibly franco when he comes back, but matos likes 1 sitting cm and 2 runners tho

So just to clarify, Oli went from saying Walta looks a "serious player" and an upgrade on Widell/Cullen in January, saw him play 300 minutes of football and has now decided he's not good enough? Not sure if the take is worse or the fact you said "off-season" as well🤮
