There is no higher authority than scripture. The Bible alone reveals God’s plan of salvation and what He expects of us. No culture, pope, church, denomination, or college professor defines truth. The Bible is our final authority of truth. It alone is the Word of God.

Ask a Protestant what the “pillar and foundation of the truth” is and you’ll probably hear: the Bible. But 1 Timothy 3:15 says it’s “the Church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” Christ entrusted His teaching to the Apostles. Through that apostolic Church, Sacred Tradition was preserved and Scripture was handed down to us. You can reject the Catholic Church, but you can’t pretend the Bible appeared independently of the Church that preserved it.

“Christians don’t make decisions based on empathy.” 1 John 4:8 “God is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:6 “Love does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” Love is truth. Christians make decisions based on truth. What kind of truth? Biblical truth because the Bible is the ultimate authority over us.

“Jesus didn’t give us a book, he gave us a church. So if anybody has any right to translate the divinely inspired word of God, it is the authority in whom Jesus Christ is appointed. And that authority is the Catholic Church.”

The Bible or Church Fathers? People can read the church fathers if they'd like, but they aren't our ultimate authority. The Bible is.

Scientists Try To Disprove The Bible…End Up Discovering The TOMB of Jesus EXACTLY as Bible Describes Archaeologists have discovered the tomb of Jesus under the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. They found a 2,000-year-old garden, grapevines, olive trees, and a rock-cut tomb—exactly as it is described in the Bible. The Bible is real, and Jesus is real. There is nothing more liberating and fulfilling than that truth.

DERIVING PROFIT FROM SCRIPTURE The accuracy of the Bible is not in the archeological flawlessness of its writings nor the personality of the authors, but in its ability to deliver God's intent as far as the revelation of God, Jesus, man, and salvation are concerned. The profiting of Scripture is only derived under the influence of The Spirit of Revelation, which guides your heart to the essence of every story, verse, and expression, captured within Scripture. As open as The Bible is, there are seals. You can only open the book, but only The Spirit of Revelation unlocks the seals, opening you up to mysteries. What profits you is not the verse of the Scripture, it is the light in the Scripture. The focus of your Bible study should center on the love of God, captured in the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ for man (being the object), and the mercy plan of salvation. Is The 'Mark of the Beast' Here? Nino Got It RIGHT!!! 📖 Stop Listening to Opinions. Listen to Scripture. Great job, David Nino Rodriguez 👏 The Bible defines the 'Mark of the Beast '—not our opinions. Scripture says it is received on the right hand or on the forehead, is required to buy or sell, and is tied to worship of the Beast (Revelation 13:16–17; 14:9–11). Let Scripture define truth—not our opinions. “Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.” —Proverbs 18:2

God speaks to us through His Word and when you start thinking God is giving you special revelation outside of His Word you have diminished the singular authority of Scripture.

Your 66 book canon is a 19th century invention, it was not apostolic at all. So when you say to appeal to “Scripture alone” i say which Scripture? and who had the authority to determine it? I’ll tell you who, The British & Foreign Bible Society in 1830, for money saving purposes. Sad. Sola Scriptura is not taught in Scripture. No verse states “Scripture alone” or “all souls are subject to the scriptures alone” no verbiage like this exists in the Bible. Protestants cannot produce a single biblical passage that clearly teaches Sola Scriptura alone excluding oral tradition. In fact the Bible repeatedly teaches to hold fast to oral apostolic tradition.

Dolly Parton spoke openly about believing in God, heaven, and Christianity—but some of her beliefs also contradicted the Bible. Her life raises an important question for every Christian: When culture and Scripture conflict, which one is our ultimate authority?

Friends, our readings for the fourth and final Sunday of Advent are all about maybe the central motif of the spiritual life. Our culture today is so self-oriented: It’s all about me and my choice. But that attitude is directly repugnant to the Bible; in fact, the Bible is constantly trying to move us out of that space and into a different space—namely, one of surrender to the higher purpose of God.

They told us King James was a hero for bringing the Bible. But what if he sanitized it to keep you obedient to the crown? The Ethiopian Bible — protected for 2,000 years — preserves the full uncensored truth: the real name of Yahweh, fallen angels, Nephilim, debt forgiveness in Jubilees, and more. Truth makes you free… and freedom is expensive for the elites. Arise, warrior. Read God’s uncensored Word. Reject the sanitized chains of empire and claim the full truth. Truth over empire. 🔥
