“There is no viable reason to have a high-level political appointee during the execution of a search warrant,” CBS News election law contributor David Becker says of Tulsi Gabbard’s presence during the FBI search of a Georgia elections hub. On why the FBI would be taking ballots from the 2020 election, Becker says that “still has not been answered,” but he adds, “there was no crime committed in 2020.
