NATIONAL SECURITY President Bola Tinubu met with the NSA, CDS, Service Chiefs, and heads of intelligence agencies at the Presidential Villa, directing them to enhance cooperation with neighboring countries' security agencies for improved effectiveness. According to General Christopher Musa, Chief of Defence Staff, the President was assured that the security team is working diligently to address security challenges.

The nomination of General Christopher Musa as Nigeria's new Minister of Defense is a welcome development. As part of my several advises to President Tinubu, I had mentioned that there was a need to stop making use of politicians in sensitive positions especially when it comes to security. I specifically told the president to recall General Christopher Musa to serve in a position that would benefit the nation's security. With his nomination, The president has shown that he indeed listens to spiritual guidance and is willing to tackle insecurity. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
