Horrible news for Nat Butcher who re-injured his MCL in his return game this past weekend - that made it 3 significant MCL injuries back-to-back for him since Round 7, all to the same knee. MCL tears rarely require surgery, but with such significant & repetitive trauma Butcher will now undergo an MCL reconstruction & his 2025 season is over. Often a 3-4 month recovery process so he should be available come 2026.
