Restrictions on access to social media in the Russian Federation are not about limiting criticism of Putin. The deeper objective is to prevent unrest. What could trigger unrest in our northern neighbor? First and foremost, large-scale mobilization in Russia – meaning mobilization from major cities, including Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The restrictions tell us that no one in Russia would accept mobilization at this scale. Today, mobilization in Russia is disguised as contract service. But adding one to one and a half million personnel to the active army would require full mobilization, because recruiting such numbers through contracts is too costly. Why is large-scale mobilization needed? To launch another major offensive against Ukraine. Or option B, which requires lower costs and less effort, is to carry out small simultaneous offensive in areas where smaller combat forces will suffice. From an interview with the "United News" telethon (4/5).

There is no such thing as a safe or trustworthy ALPR. Companies like Flock are driven by profit and in order to compete for contracts they have to create more and more powerful surveillance tools so they can sell more of our data. As long as we live in a system driven by profit where private companies own and control our data there is no way to remove the dangers of ALPRs. That is why we are here today to call for a total ban on ALPRs in Chandler.

He is definitely not preparing for a ceasefire or an end to the war. Putin is determined only to present a meeting with America as his personal victory and then continue acting exactly as before, applying the same pressure on Ukraine as before. So far, there is no indication whatsoever that the Russians have received signals to prepare for a post-war situation. On the contrary, they are redeploying their troops and forces in ways that suggest preparations for new offensive operations. If someone is preparing for peace, this is not what he does. We continue to keep our partners informed about the real situation on the battlefield, in diplomacy, and in Russia’s planning of further actions.
