There is no way that Mito left Asuna alone, I know she was scared but even Kirito would find a way to help her no matter what

Kirito drops some sage advise after this (I'm paraphrasing). "Yes, she was really your friend. When people are threatened, they do what they think they have to to survive. When you were comfortable, that was who she wanted to be."

I always found it heartbreaking, Mito was in a bad spot, the only real friend she had had no chance of surviving the onslaught, and she was the one that put her in that position. She couldn’t bare to see that heath bar hit zero and she’ll carry that guilt for a long time

Tbf it woulda been suicide to not run away, and unless I don’t understand the party system, Asuna doesn’t benefit from being partied with her, Mito just saved herself the trauma of watching her friend flatline. I’d call her smart rather than a traitor, unless I’m missing a detail

One thing I love about this movie is that it showed the little nepenthes. May be my fave SAO monster just because of how terrifying they are. Despite being low level, they are horrifying in numbers.

Rip friendship

Is asuna so i think she will forgive her, but yeah 😭

I can understand both sides given the situation both was in, Mito would've died trying to get to Asuna and she saw her hp get lower and lower showing she's still in danger but would rather not see her death was certain and live with a faint hope she didn't die when like should've

I get her fear, but I still can’t forgive that.....

Hey, they've changed this scene. Normally Asuna doesn't fight plant monsters, and this scene takes place at the beginning. Asuna enters a cave and encounters this monster. And Asuna doesn't make a terrifying expression like this one.

I love that I found that exact clearing in the new game ha ha... still packed with those flower monsters too.

What's the name of this?

Pero esto que es una nueva serie de sao?

Is this a new movie of SAO? I heard some people say, that it isn't cannon.

Whatever happened to Mito anyways? She ever get mentioned again in the future?
