Masechaba: You tweeted that Ramaphosa signed the “Expropriation Act” which is land expropriation without expropriation of land. A con. Andile Mngxitama (MKP): It’s not different from the Apartheid 1975 Expropriation Act which said market value must be paid to expropriate land. Meaning, if a thief steals your car, you must pay the thief to get it back & only if the thief is willing to sell it. Willing buyer willing seller.

This Is Scary... The NGO Bill has passed its 2nd Reading, and Nigerians are not even aware of the ramifications for their rights if it is signed into law. Prof Chidi Odinkalu broke it down perfectly and has raised the alarm; it is now up to Nigerians to resist this bill. This is a total authoritarian system of government that this shambolic Tinubu government intends to impose on Nigerians. #SayNoToNGOBill

Friends, there is a morally outrageous bill that has now been signed into law by Governor Tim Walz. This bill is the most radical abortion law in the country. We must continue to stand against this barbarism. Pray for the conversion of hearts and minds.

Perryman: This is yet another example of Todd Blanche not being willing to give sworn testimony in a courtroom, even if it means the DOJ loses. Well, it’s quite remarkable that you have a DOJ that is willing to make statements to a court in its briefing that it’s not willing to swear to. If you’re making these representations as an officer of the court, then why is it too much to ask that you make them under penalty of perjury? And this is something the DOJ has not been willing to do.

President Cyril Ramaphosa admitted under oath, in the court case in which AfriForum is challenging the Expropriation Act, that section 19 of the new Expropriation Act is unconstitutional because it erroneously states that expropriation may take place before the landowner has had the opportunity to contest the matter in court. The Presidency 🇿🇦 Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦's admission confirms that he and the ANC spread blatant lies by dismissing AfriForum’s concerns about the unconstitutionality of the Expropriation Act as the “spreading of disinformation.” Ramaphosa must be held personally responsible for the negative consequences that his signing of the Expropriation Act has for the country and its people, since he signed this law fully aware that it was unconstitutional. President Donald Trump, within ten days after Ramaphosa announced that he had signed the Expropriation Act, declared that he would impose punative measures against South Africa. There is therefore a direct link between Ramaphosa’s reckless signing of the Expropriation Act and the United States’ actions against South Africa. Any job losses and growing poverty resulting from this must therefore be laid directly at the door of Ramaphosa and other ANC leaders.

It Is Not Surprising That President Tinubu Signed the Electoral Bill Into Law - Mamedu He signed a bill of 120-plus pages in less than 24 hours. The law allows the president up to 30 days, as there are established procedures. The attorney general, INEC, and ministers of finance usually have to review this bill before the president signs it or not. Andrew Mamedu, Country Director, ActionAid

♦️ Must Watch ♦️ President Julius Sello Malema makes a progressive suggestion, stating that it would be procedurally fair to release General Mkhwanazi, as his evidence-in-chief has been completed. The matters currently under discussion have nothing to do with Mkhwanazi. He has submitted his evidence and is willing to provide more if challenged. It is not proper for a witness to give evidence and for the committee to immediately begin discussing it. This is not a kangaroo court. #EFFInParliament
