Circumstantial evidence is inductive, and therefore, never “overwhelming.” The simple fact is we don’t know for sure what happened. Having hinches is okay, but don’t equivocate.

We the Chinese Americans know the best! Yes, the Covid-19 virus was indeed from a lab in Wuhan! We read a lot of facts written in Chinese language, which were not translated into other languages yet.

I lost count of the number of times in the Situation Room where I asked Dr. Fauci if it might be possible that this came from a lab leak in Wuhan. And he assured me over and over again that couldn't have come from a lab. I always suspected that Covid-19 came from a lab. I’m troubled that we have not held China accountable for a virus that cost the lives of millions of people around the world.

Whatever your politics, there is PLENTY of evidence the lab leak theory is true: 1) COVID-19 originated in Wuhan, which happens to be home to the most prominent lab for SARS-like viruses in the world. 2) In 2018, the Wuhan Institute of Virology (along with various partners, including the U.S.) submitted a grant to construct a virus that very closely resembled SARS-CoV-2. 3) Safety measures at the lab were very low. I don’t know what the answer is. But acting like the lab leak theory is a conspiracy in 2026 is a choice. We should all want the truth.
