There, just there, Eşref no longer speaks of Rüya with guilt or remorse. He openly admits that he loves Nisan - loves her more than he ever loved Rüya herself. To him, she is not a replacement, not a way to fill the void Rüya left behind. It isn’t because he once glimpsed Rüya in her. He loves her simply for who she is: Nisan.
