MASTERCLASS OF MAMATA BANERJEE: How to turn tragedy into politics? Mamata Banerjee used a poor, grieving Muslim woman, Rekha, for her so-called “SUPREME” drama. However, karma struck back. The same Rekha exposed her. A BLO passed misinformation to Rekha’s husband, claiming that Rekha’s name would be struck off the voter list and that she would be sent to Bangladesh. That misinformation pushed her husband into unbearable mental pressure and eventually led him to commit suicide. Let that sink in. Instead of accountability, what followed was a political spectacle. Mamata Banerjee rushed to the Supreme Court, not to seek true justice, but to create a ruckus, weaponise a grieving woman for her hate campaign against SIR, and turn a personal tragedy into an election prop. Inside the EC office as well, Mamata Banerjee was not allowed to peddle her lies. So what did she do? She banged the table, stormed out, and played the victim card outside. Then came the lies again. It is highly condemnable on the part of Mamata Banerjee to drag reputed social welfare organizations like Bharat Sevashram Sangha and Ramakrishna Mission into politics by raising baseless allegations. Such false statements made merely to appease a section of voters and gain some votes are unwarranted. Mamata Banerjee should know that if Swami Pranavananda Ji Maharaj, the founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, had not been there, West Bengal would have been a part of Bangladesh and not India.
