Based on the comments on this..it is obvious that most people don't know how old a Gen X person is without looking up the generational dates Secondly, Gen X hit 4 recessions/economic downturns to date in its working age..MORE THAN ANY GENERATION SINCE PRE WW2

20-25 years ago I could listen to MSNBC or CNN cover a news story, and then flip a channel to Fox News to get their slant on the same story, so that I could make up my own mind. Today I can’t do that, as the news event is not even covered by one side or the other if it does not fit their narrative. Just look at the coverage of the Iranian Revolution.

Not all Gen X but an overwhelming majority. There have always been “blue hairs with septum rings and perpetual outrage” to buzz kill everyone else.
