But according to this diver, that might be the worst thing you can do. In this intense video, the shark is actively following and gaining on the diver. Here’s what the video explains: “If you’re swimming in the open ocean and you run into a tiger shark, your first instinct is probably going to be to swim away as fast as possible. Unfortunately, we are no longer a safe destination as we once were, and this can be attributed to the negligence of the Tourism Ministry, government, stakeholders, and the fact that client safety has been overlooked. #sharkfeeding It is a fact that little or nothing has been done regarding feeding practices. In the end, people will believe sharks are the problem, unaware that they come seeking an easy meal because feeding has been allowed. This is a reminder that during early summer these apex predators move into the shallows to feed - and they don’t care who else is out there. After seeing what a shark is capable of up close, I would have been out of that water quick… How fast would you have moved?

The non-stop enviro push in the last few years to normalize sharks and shark / human contact has gone too far.. Here, parents implore their kids to 'just not move' as massive sharks swim between their legs. Everyone is just in the water without a care in the world with adult sharks. A man was **eaten alive today** on the same Israeli beach by a shark in a gruesome 3-minute-long video as the sharks rip him to pieces and feed. I get it, nature is wonderful & beautiful, but this whole movement way overplaying the "don't worry sharks are safe" and normalizing swimming with them including F****** GREAT WHITE SHARKS on the coasts of California is lunacy.
