I’m a super holistic ‘crunchy’ mum, but I also use a bit of screen time with my one year old Babies and screens is definitely a polarising topic… Screen time is generally discouraged for children under the age of 5 But it takes a village to raise a child and the reality is A LOT of parents are utilising screen time So how can we use technology in a healthier way? Not all screens are made equal > daylight is a blue light free, zero flicker, monochrome screen computer A few examples of use: - when flying on take off and landing - if I need 10 minutes to go meditate - using a sharp knife in the kitchen when there is a baby beneath me I think it is important to be transparent about the journey online so I will be observing my child’s behaviour and adjust as necessary But so far this feels like a tool for good for us! 🌱
