Heartthrob Namjoon is so classic. I’m referring to when he looks right into the camera and doesn’t shy away. No hand covering face. No letting the others go first. He just gives himself to us. Ahhhhh why is June taking so long to come back around. 😩😩😩😩💜

RM shared that “they don’t know ’bout us” was inspired by conversations with Jimin about emotions, perspective, and how people perceive them! 🐨: “Um, ‘they don’t know ’bout us’ is a song that Jimin really checked up on and worked on a lot. Jimin always said that through this session, he really improved a lot. Not just in singing, but also in learning vocals and writing melodies too. Before making this song, me, Jimin, and the songwriters there had worked on another song called ‘Weak.’ While talking about what kind of story we should tell, I brought up the phrase, ‘You make me weak.’ That was what I had in mind. But actually, it was something directed toward you guys. ‘You make me weak.’ It’s something you’d say to someone you love. ‘You always make me weak.’ But that feeling can be both bad and good, kind of like normal emotions. [….] Then Jimin asked me, ‘Hyung, why is it “You make me weak”?’ Why does it make you weak? And I said, because people… they actually don’t know us. They can’t know us. Even I don’t fully know myself. While talking about that, I think Jimin found that idea really interesting. The idea that: ‘People make me weak because they don’t really know me.’ The next day, Jimin and I ended up splitting into different rooms, and I think there, with DOC and some sampling they brought in, they turned it into ‘they don’t know ’bout us.’ If you watch the performance, there are all those eyes and faces appearing on the iPad or tablet screens. So originally, this song actually started as something written for ARMYs, but in the end, it became a really aggressive song directed at people outside who don’t really know us at all.”

South Korean singer Kim Wan Sun, a pop diva from the late 1980s and 1990s, revealed in an interview that if she were to remake her duet with Hong Kong star Alan Tam, she’d love to perform it with Jungkook. The host Hong Seok Cheon expressed his excitement, calling Jungkook “the dance king and vocal king who’s defining today’s music scene.” FULL TRANSLATION ↓ —— Kim Wan Sun: There's a song I sang with Alan Tam that I still really love. I’ve wanted to do a remake of the song. It's a duet called “We Don’t Want to Lose Her” (“헤어질 수 없는 우리”) MC: Younger people might not know Alan Tam. He was a top actor and singer of Hong Kong during its golden era of ‘Four Kings’, ‘Five Kings’, and so on. Since you can't do a duet with Alan Tam again, is there any male artist you would like to? It could be a hoobae you’re fond of, it could be an idol—feel free to speak purely as a fan and tell us. Kim: Jungkook? (The MCs erupt in excitement.) MC: Did you hear that, Jungkook? BTS fans, get moving! What are you doing, ARMYs? Give Jungkook a push for this! You have to make it happen for our Wan Sun noona! Kim: They say you should dream big. MC: Absolutely. This kind of confidence and firmness is what makes history and great art. It could be that ARMYs get excited. They could be curious of what the song is like, and look up the song, and could think ‘Our Jungkook oppa would sound so good singing it.’ Kim: They’re probably not going to like this. MC: No way. The Dance King & Vocal King meets the Dancing Queen—legends have to come together! BTS’s Jungkook, who’s carrying the current era, and Diva Kim Wan Sun, who has made history in Korean music industry, and we’ll get a masterpiece.

RM talked about Jungkook's contribution to "Hooligan" 🐨: So, Jungkook and Hobi spent a lot of time working closely together. It probably came out of Jungkook and Hobi's room. And as you know, I don't know why Jungkook suddenly brought up the keyword 'Hooligan,' but anyway, Jungkook wrote this part with (watch this watch this beat going hooligan), and from there, he talked through it with the local songwriters to flesh it out. Then I also made some minor revisions, and after many people revised it, it came out like this. 🐨: For this, a person named El Guincho, who works a lot with Rosalía, collaborated with me for over ten days, and there were so many really interesting tracks. There were many tracks like one that started with the sound of knives slashing, a motorcycle sound, or a Game Boy sound, but this song probably came out of Hobi or Jungkook’s room about a month into it. 🐨: To that extent, Hobi and Jungkook really did a huge job. From the moment we heard the rough sounds with the people who were there, the track itself was just so good. And because the keyword 'Hooligan' stood out so strongly, it felt really great. 🐨: Originally, there was this choreography that was really intense, the kind they used to dance, and Taehyang also danced it. There was this kind of choreography. But after listening to opinions from the company's ideas and various people, we changed it to this one to try and make it a challenge and gain mainstream popularity (viral success). 🐨: But as expected, a challenge isn't something that just succeeds because you force it. In the end, that other choreography created by one of our fans, you know, the one with the hip-thrusting/pelvis popping? That one became the viral challenge, and everyone ended up doing that challenge. It showed us that what we try to make happen doesn't easily catch on, and it didn't become a challenge at all. So I realized, 'Ah, this really isn't something that happens just because you try to push it.' 🐨But anyway, it was great because so many people did 'Hooligan'. Yeah, I don't know the full behind-the-scenes story of 'Hooligan'. For this, later on when Jungkook or Hobi do a live stream, what should I say? Please be sure to ask about it
