Earlier today, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the surrender of Hamas’ Beit Hanoun ‘Battalion’ (original size smaller than typical battalion strength formations) in the city of Beit Hanoun. The IDF said that three Hamas terrorists emerged from a tunnel and subsequently surrendered to the IDF’s Givati Brigade, while also indicating a previously killed terrorist had been with them as well. They also surrendered a nearby weapons and provisions cache where ammunition, grenades, vests, magazines, food, water and hygiene products were found.
