There was a time when a random licensed PS2 game was way better than it had any right to be.

Deadass this game was better than many of the mainline GTA titles

Was just playing this on an emulator today with a mate, everything about this game is peak, the side activities, the music, the vibes of 40s New York. What a shame that a remake won’t ever happen

“Random licensed game”, the game was published by electronic arts and based on one of the biggest franchises in film history, and you make it sound like it’s just some random game.

I put so many hours into that game, that and Scarface were the kings of licensed games

I put a lot of time into this game growing up. Taking over all the neighborhoods, doing all the contracts, and favors. Becoming the Don of NYC. Very underrated game.

It had no business being as good as it was. I remember as a kid having the guidebook trying to get the max extortion money from vendors.

This game was awesome and the sequel was a banger allowing you to build your own family

PS3 Don's Edition was top tier. PSP one not bad either. The second game was trash though

I played the life out of this game, was ahead of its time in my opinion. Especially considering licensed games didn’t have the best rep in the 2000s. Sequel wasn’t awful either.

with one pistol you could invade the main for houses . at the start of the game, cap all get rich and unlock the golden guns fast .

Trying to get Godfather working on PC is such a damn hassle, but it's so worth it

The guns would fire in the direction your character was holding the gun even without aiming whenever you pulled r2. You could do trickshots by leaning back and forth doing the unarmed block animation with a gun in your hand and shooting
