Is there a delay and that was comedic timing or did they wait until you walked behind the horse to play the fart?

You know what gets me in this game? You'll hear voices saying "Please help me" or something that's an bvious prompt for your assistance, but they didn't bother putting any kind of indicator as to where the voice is coming from so you just wander around looking for five minutes. A guy was fighting a cougar and he died before I made it over the hill where he was to help him. Grrr.
