There was much hand-wringing from @BBCCountryfile that ethnic minorities felt afraid to go to the countryside. At the Stepping Stones in Dovedale in the Peak District, we have Muslims, hijabs, burkas & a fight with weapons.

@KM49491 @BBCCountryfile This was such a beautiful, restful place when I went as a child. Last year it looked like this, minus the machetes though. An absolute zoo of milling immigrants.

@BBCCountryfile Like anything associated with the BBC, Countryfile is operating in a parallel universe. Clarkson shows us how the country functions #defundthebbc

@BBCCountryfile Make our 'Green and Pleasant' land more 'unpleasant and fowl' by the agonising second.

@BBCCountryfile Seeing those people infest the green hills of Britain feels like finding a fingernail in your lobster bisque.

@GeorgeO53769524 @BBCCountryfile So we can’t go to airports or countryside without fear of violence. Looks like the Pub will be the last safe haven for the indigenous.

@BBCCountryfile I was there at the end of last summer. It was full of Asians! Having full meals and fires by the river and just leaving everything behind. It was a tip. Its so lovely around there. It’s just so sad.

@BBCCountryfile Fighting over the goats?

@BBCCountryfile . I assume it was also strewn with garbage.

@BBCCountryfile I've never known a community batter the crap out of each other like this one. Gawd knows no-one's perfect, but these are genuinely next level.

@BBCCountryfile Dovedale has become a focal point for New Britons to turn up in large groups, swamp the place in picnics and leave lots of litter. It’s just awful at weekends. Last time I went a Pakistani women openly threw a full nappy bag into the water.

@BBCCountryfile Get lots of dog walkers up there. They won't return.

@BBCCountryfile Who puts a machete in the picnic basket 😡

@BBCCountryfile The English countryside has never been so enriched. And because of this, the warm, fuzzy feeling inside of me is joyous and I feel at one with myself and the world.

@BBCCountryfile They’ve been out & about In Derbyshire for years, especially when it’s dark 🤔

@BBCCountryfile They have ruined our towns and cities, now they are ruining the countryside.

@BBCCountryfile This all looks more and more like our government want to incite civil unrest .
@BBCCountryfile It's outrageous that the countryside, once a peaceful retreat, now faces such chaos. Seeing weapons and conflict in Dovedale is unacceptable. How can we preserve the serenity of these places amidst rising tensions?

@BBCCountryfile I remember Stepping Stones, from a time when it was quiet, peaceful, and clean; a state it had existed in for hundreds of years, perhaps? I can't see myself ever visiting again!

@BBCCountryfile I feel so sorry for the people with dogs, the abuse we've come across when walking with ours is unreal. We've been told to walk in the road, get out of their way and move those filthy animals away from them. You can take people out of the zoo but not the zoo out of people.

@BBCCountryfile The stuff up everything, wherever they go.

@BBCCountryfile Everywhere they go they spread peace and happiness, so tidy and courteous.

@BBCCountryfile Keep them away from Countryside, stay in the 3rd world cities

@BBCCountryfile We need a few container cargo ships to transport them to the other side of the world

@BBCCountryfile Taking their mostly peaceful machetes with them for a stroll in the country…..

@BBCCountryfile What’s it going to take before people get their heads out of the sand and realise the severity of this crisis in our country. Should be a state of national emergency before it’s too late if it isn’t already

@BBCCountryfile When I saw the headline about a fight between walkers i couldn't believe it. But of course it's these guys. Who else is it going to be?

@BBCCountryfile Now they are spreading out, we have to deport them all

@BBCCountryfile They even take their weapons on a walk in the countryside, they can never be civilised.

@BBCCountryfile Oh @BBCCountryfile, this does not look good for your narrative. Nor I guess would mine and my families testimony of a lot of diversity when we went to Hike Snowdon. Hey Ho, Keep Calm and Carry On 👍

@BBCCountryfile We want our countryside back. They cause trouble everywhere. @Keir_Starmer

@BBCCountryfile We don't want them in our countryside,it's our only safe place that looks like and feels like our country

@BBCCountryfile Cultural enrichment?

@BBCCountryfile Perhaps @BBCCountryfile would like to visit Castleton in Derbyshire. There was a sign nailed to a tree saying “👆 Mecca this way.”

@BBCCountryfile Where ever they go they cause trouble and mayhem David

@JauntyLibra @BBCCountryfile Deport the bloody lot.
