🇮🇱🇵🇸🇷🇺 “There has simply never been a Palestinian state. You speak of occupied territories? How can they be taken from an entity that never existed, by a nation that was always there,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, defending Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land, while arguing with the Russian representatives.

The viral “Palestinian land loss” maps claim Israel has been shrinking Palestine since 1948. But there was never a sovereign Palestinian state. The 1947 map was a UN plan Arab leaders rejected before going to war. These maps don’t tell history, they erase it.

At my Oxford Union debate, I challenged one of the most misleading assumptions in the motion itself: “peace with Palestine.” In 1948, Israel was not fighting a Palestinian state. It was fighting surrounding Arab armies. There has never been an independent Arab Palestinian state in all of human history.

We never see Israel as a Jewish state. We stand with the Palestinian people and support the Palestine state. The day the State of Israel was founded is a dark day for the Jewish people and history. There is no Zionism in Judaism. Zionism is not Judaism. #FreePalestine

🇮🇱 Smotrich: "There is no such thing as a Palestinian people." Israel's Finance Minister is again rejecting the existence of a distinct Palestinian national identity: “Who was the first Palestinian king? What was the Palestinian currency? Is there a Palestinian language? There is nothing. There is no culture.” If there is no Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian claim to statehood. Writer: Oliver

There was a period when a Palestinian state could have been declared: before 1967, when Gaza was under Egyptian control and the West Bank under Jordanian rule. There was no Israeli occupation of those territories and no settlements. East Jerusalem was not under Israeli control. But no Palestinian state emerged. Later, after 1973, another opening appeared. Egypt pivoted from war to peace. Israel showed it was willing to trade land for recognition. Again, no Palestinian state. Why is that?

I was wrong. There is clear evidence of intentional starvation in Gaza. And now Macron, Starmer, and Carney are recognizing a Palestinian state.

🇵🇸 THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION IS DEAD! For decades, the two-state solution was a carrot dangled in front of Palestinians: keep negotiating, waiting, and conceding. Your state is always just around the corner. Meanwhile, settlements expanded, Palestinian territory was fragmented, and the possibility of a viable sovereign state was steadily dismantled on the ground. Now Netanyahu himself has declared that there will be no Palestinian state and that the two-state solution is dead. So perhaps it’s time to stop pretending. One state. Palestine. Equal rights for everyone who lives there.

❗️No agreements were reached with Russia in Anchorage—only a proposal was made, stated US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “Only a proposal was made in Alaska, and there was never any agreement there,” the US Secretary of State said.
