What is occurring in Kentucky tomorrow is no less than a war between generations and there are upsides, regardless of the outcome. If Thomas Massie for Congress wins, it’s because younger Americans are done with foreign interference and are serious about putting America first. This is momentum that will be carried forward in future elections. If he loses, the veil will drop for many. The confused patriotism of the boomer, built on cable news talking points, misunderstood geopolitics, and bad theology will be met with a furious outcry of “America Only”, the likes of which they have never seen. We will learn that there are limits to the power of the political behemoths and that there is a path, however long, back to the old America.
