there’s a classically trained opera baritone currently working at a Chrysler dealership in Cocoa, Florida and he makes advertisements for the cars in the style of different arias and I just had to share that with everybody because he’s my favorite person in the world rn

Does he sell Nissan Dormas?

no but he sells Nessun Rogues Hehehe

The West has a heart that still beats baby

the west’s heart is current working at a Chrysler dealership in Florida

May he have many sons

Thank you so much for sharing this. A weekend trip to the beach, buy a car from this guy, meal at Squid Lips and watch Elon launch one sounds ideal. Brevard FTW.

he’s my everything atm

It's nice to hear opera in English. Of course it's about cars. Very American.

He’s truly using the gift God gave him 😂

🎶 finaaaaaaaaance for nineteen years at thirty seven percent intereeeeeeeeest 🎵

Okay. Yeah. Now I want, nay DEMAND, an entire opera about a used car salesman selling used cars. Act 1: We're introduced to Stephen, a working class salesman who follows his father into the profession of automotive sales. He has a wife and child. He yearns to distinguish himself. Act 2: The car lot owner tells the crew that they must sell all the cars because Automotivius, the god of automation, has decreed it. Meanwhile, his wife tells Stephen the landlord has raised their rent and Junior needs a tonsillectomy. But Stephen is just a humble salesman. What ever shall he do? His best friend, Frank, tells him to abandon his profession and seek work at the swine rendering plant. Stephen decides me must follow the command of Automotivius. Frank attempts to seduce Stephen's wife. She rejects Frank and she, Stephen, and their infant son flee to the trailer park located 5 miles outside of their small town. Bruce and Mabel, the 80+ year old resident couple promises to help Stephen succeed in his quest to sell all the used cars. Act 3: Bruce teaches Stephen to sing the praises of used cars and how to honor Automotivius with clip-on ties and men's nail kits laid upon the Crysler altar. Stephen, heading Bruce's teaching, sells the most used cars in the automotive dealer's history. The lot's owner, finally finding a worthy successor, retires, and gives ownership of the car lot to Stephen. Stephen moves his family into a Ranch house and his son grows up to become the lead accountant for a tool and dye manufacturer. ~Fin

Knew an opera singer - he was part of the DC opera, dined with Placido, sang to hundreds every night. During the day he worked in a comic book store. Like many entertainers, only the top percentile make big money, the rest gotta make a living too.

This is the perfect metaphor for what has happened to Western culture. That's really not supposed to be a dis. Just. This is where we're at. This guy should be working opera but he's slinging cars on Instagram reels.

Is there anything Florida Man can’t do?

Dudes probably sick of selling challengers and charges to shines with poor credit that get them totaled or repoed within 2 months so he's trying to get a white mf to buy one for once.

@chopstickfury01 I'd feel like an asshole for negotiating after that

I'm buying my next car in Florida!

There used to be a middle-aged African-American airport guide at the Newark, NJ airport who would greet passengers in a beautiful operatic voice. Sadly he retired. It was awesome.

Not a fan of Dodge brand, but I think this guy could convince me to buy one

Rats! I bought a new car couple months back, went to 8 dealerships and not one salesperson sang opera. 🥺 I feel cheated.

Excellent news for all us

Indeed!

Made my eve

If I lived anywhere near Florida I would go car shopping there because of this. Singing arias require serious opera skills.

Wonder why this is specifically the one you shared lol.

hehheh

A rap would probably be a more effective sales tactic for that particular model

Maybe he should use the Toreador Song from Carmen. It’s written for baritones. Might be a good one for selling pickups.

lolll my zoomer son put me on to this guy three days ago, he is amazing, I hope he makes a zillion dollars

I’ll raise you 1 jeep wagoneer ⭐️

I LOVE THIS!! 🥰😂🥰😂🥰😂 HERE, PUT YOUR HEADPHONES ON, AN ORIGINAL PIECE STILL IN CREATIVE PROGRESS!! For my very funny and Opera loving favorite writer Anna ❤️ Listen to cminor symphony Finale reduct (1).wav by SimultaneousPather on #SoundCloud

This is a whole different kind of "pitch"

@Rhonda574394913 Waiting to hear the Nissan Dorma or The Cadillac of Seville.

Thank you for this

Magnificent

That's a tenor aria, and that stupid fucking tag says he's a bass baritone. What a clown. His voice is fucking horrendous too, insanely throaty and constricted.

shut up

God I love Florida.

Least eccentric dude from Cocoa

I hope people are driving from all over to buy from him, because Cocoa is, uh…not his target market.

This is perfection.

I love this so much. During the holiday season there is a man who plays beautiful music on his violin in the parking lot of Whole Foods next to my house. he is so talented. I open up my balcony doors to hear him all day. He is not affiliated with WF, just receives tips from customers. He brings so much joy.

I do not know this Singer channeling is Inner José Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti, and Placido Domingo... But if he needs a stage name for his adds, may I suggest Plymouth DeSoto? Cab RiOlet? Carman Ghia? Cuda Satellite?

She also mentioned Kieran Lee as another example of a performer with a distinct approach, and added that the person she felt the most chemistry with and enjoyed working with the most was Mike Stefano. “They are two totally different performers. It’s hard to compare them because they are completely different, their styles are just widely different.”
