Gonna let this cook and record some findings tomorrow. Again this is all preliminary based on the last few weeks of digging. Dec 6th could change a lot. Audio roadmap (hehe) and my expansion to some input related stuff!

Im a bit of a noobie here, but is this sort of sound customization something console players can utilize through OBS or software? Or is this mainly a PC player type of thing?

That's my biggest problem with Loudness EQ, ambient noise is so difficult to block out. This sounds amazing Art 🫡. Might have to try to finally learn your ways.

Would definitely have to be #2, background sound is reduced significantly and yet footsteps still sound about the same with good direction. If the background volume is any distinction to how mortars and PAs would sound in this situation then that is even a major W. Audio papi W

Yet another phenomenal detail that makes all the difference in MGSΔ. The development team really outdid themselves with the sound effects and sound design. In the cutscene where Ocelot rebels, aside from the fact that we can now hear Volgin's electric charge with breathtaking sound effects, take a close look at the sound effect added before Ocelot's response to Volgin. It adds incredible suspense and tension. The added background music and sound effects are very subtle, but they really make a difference. Just look at the scene of Volgin's death with the theme of The Man On Fire added. Once again, people who insist that MGSΔ is a remaster or a port should obviously not be taken seriously. #MGSDelta

In order to create an ECHO, the sound source must be walled-in by a physical enclosure. We all know this from experience. It's basic acoustics. Why then...does THUNDER produce such a strong, crisp echo, identical to when you produce a loud sound underneath a dome? 🤔
