The only reason this is a conversation is because the nba is a player first league. Many fans pick players over teams. Vs the NFL, NHL, MLB which are more team first fandom. All in all it’s a dumb argument if you enjoy good basketball

You don’t have to play in New York, Los Angeles, or Boston to be a star. I would say this is the best matchup in decades as far as style of play.
