There's been a stand-off in Hyde Park, Sydney, between left-wing protesters and police. The group was protesting against Aboriginal deaths in custody and attempted to defy Premier Minns' protest ban by marching to the Domain. Police quickly put a stop to the march.

SLC police were alerted to the alleged shooter at the “No Kings” protest by another attendee, who grabbed the suspects bag because of a rifle sticking out. It seems the suspect was trying to hide amongst protesters and is confirmed to have been marching with them in a group earlier on. Three people were taken into custody and the alleged shooter was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound. No shots were fired by police.
