I feel like the broken grapple should fling you down and to the right? It looks kinda weird to just suddenly have your momentum cut at the fastest point of your swing and just fall straight down

Nah it's fine lol this kind of jumping is barely momentum based. You have "fall straight down" or "move forward at a fixed speed", not realistic physics

This is a carbon copy of Spore Spawn from Super Metroid. The way it moves and even its entrance is pretty much the exact same. Not that I’m complaining.

Lmao I was so confused because I thought this was a castlevania game but I've played most of them and didn't recognize it. Then SPORESPAWN from Super Metroid shows up and I get even more confused. Game looks great though! The art is good, and it looks fun!
