Thinking about elimination of caste, when there are all kinds of Govt schemes running on basis of caste, is hypocrisy of highest order.

Caste system is there in India .. BUT .. NOBODY is asking to abolish this constitutionally .. EVERYBODY is asking for RESERVATION only, while that is not helpful in any way .. FACT IS : because CASTE system is there, vote bank politics is possible, and Free loading of one section is possible .. SO, BEHIND CROCODILE TEARS, nobody WANT TO ABOLISH CASTE SYSTEM ..

Remove "Nair" in your name, first. Caste in itself isn't bad, yes discriminating on the basis of it, is.

You want them to say they are ashamed of their surname? Are they hurting anyone else in the video or discriminating against anyone? Being proud of their ancestors is wrong? Maybe you are ashamed of your ancestors. We are proud of our surnames and our ancestors.

My experience with this divide was while travelling through Rajasthan. We wanted to buy some water and told our driver. He skipped several shops along the way. When we told him those shops had water bottles, he told us ‘wo Meena ke dukaane hain!’; then stopped at a Gurjar’s shop.
