Most people misunderstand Las Vegas because they misunderstand geography — not the weather. Vegas isn’t just “the desert.” It’s a high-desert basin at 2,000 feet, surrounded by mountains rising to nearly 12,000. Those snow-capped peaks are the Spring Mountains 🏔️ real winter snow, real elevation, minutes from the Strip. Nevada’s name literally means snow-covered in Spanish. That’s not branding, it’s terrain. Meanwhile Zimbabwean maize is produced by rural farmers who were oppressed for 100 years by white Zimbabwean farmers, our commercial farmers have no desire to grow maize because it is not financially lucrative. But Zimbabwe is outproducing South African farmers on wheat is because wheat in Zimbabwe is also produced by commercial farmers just like in South Africa. #ZimbabweVsSouthAfricaAgriculture
