To whom it may concern: Attention, the criminal Alaa Abdel Fattah is a convicted felon who has not completed his sentence, which, according to the Egyptian Public Prosecution’s statement, ends in January 2027. According to his lawyer, Khaled Ali, the Public Prosecution refused to count his pretrial detention period toward his sentence because it was related to another case. Some political prisoners and opposition figures, such as the opposition figure Ahmed Tantawi and his lawyer Mohamed Eldiar, were released immediately upon completing their sentences. Therefore, attempts to tarnish the role of the judiciary and the Public Prosecution and to interfere in Egyptian affairs are rejected, and we will only enforce the law. Egypt is a state that established justice 7,000 years before Christ. Alaa Abdel Fattah is listed on the terrorism watchlist for five years, according to his lawyer’s statements.

It isn’t only about Alaa, it’s about approx sixty thousands of opinions detainees, some hundreds who demonstrated for Palestine , Not to mention systematic tortures , coercion, court-recycling & even worse.
