There’s nothing more perfect than a baseball field. Skip Bertman explains it better than anyone else will. Best thing you’ll watch today.

Here is a simple mathematical reason why baseball is great! There are 3 outfielders There are 6 players in the infield area including the pitcher & catcher The total is 9! The great inventor Tesla believed in 3-6-9 as a key to the Universe! I tend to agree & I love baseball!

This is disingenuous and harms understanding of the mechanics of the game. If the bases were 80 feet, the shortstop would have to play closer, and the game would be the same but batting averages would be higher. We wouldn't think of the .300 hitter being a benchmark, but .400. ⚾️

That’s the most magical explanation of baseball I’ve ever heard.

Got to keep MLB from ruining it with stupid rule changes. Wider bases, no shift stuff like that.

Skip Bertman is a cousin of my late father. He was the only person who didn’t show up to their wedding and even worse, he recruited me, a left handed pitcher who hit 90+ in high school and offered me a full ride to LSU, once he found out I hurt my knee, without even contacting me he rescinded the scholarship offer and has never answered our calls since then. That was 1999.
