There’s only one problem with Alberta……

The only real problem is the other drivers.

True

Gawd Damn 'Global Boiling'.

Have a friend in the insurance business in Calgary. He said Albertan’s have no idea what’s coming down the pipe for premium increases in 2026 due to surge in accidents being caused by new immigrants.

I suffered out there in the thick of it today.

Happy you’re still with us after see what’s online lol ❤️🙏🏻

It got pretty hairy out there. But not being an idiot really helped out!

It is kinda fun though.

I’m from Prince George, I get it but still hate it 🤣🤣

Yes! There’s idiots that don’t know how to drive.

Right?! lol

Everyone needs to be schooled on the many faces of black ice… none are good when driving.

The biggest problem is that the government keeps giving drivers licenses to people who don't know how to drive in Canadian, especially Albertan winters.

This has become way more common in the last couple years. This rarely happened in the past, more and more bad drivers moving to this province that have no idea how to drive in winter conditions. Including not having winter tires, complete idiots on the roads these days.

Its just a clipper. The worst thing is all the crappy driver illegals.

Nothing like an exciting game of”pick a lane and go” with the “is that black ice” extension pack.

With the billions stolen from Alberta it could probably have heated roads.

Should track accidents versus immigration would be a cool chart!!!

Every time I contemplate moving back, especially during the late spring & heading into the summer. A friend will post that they just got dumpd on by snow!😂. That kicks me back into reality. That said, AB separation really has legs to it. I'll find my -100 boots & happily go back

Climate change ? It exists here in Alberta. Three times a fucking day. In Lethbridge today. The city awoke to the most beautiful and biggest rainbow 🌈 I've ever seen. Followed by a 20 minute downpour . Then 115 kmh winds blowing sleet. Then a godamn blizzard Then sun

Oh yeah, I'm visiting

🤣🤣

Yup! Our annual scheduled natural disaster is here

I learned to drive in the " Snow Belt " in Ontario in the sixties starting at the age of 14. I will never understand how people in Alberta don't know how to deal with temperature, precipitation and friction coefficients.

There are more

@BobAppl79292310 BC too, my walk to my car at work last night. 😅

I grew up in it , there’s no point to winter if there’s no snow in my opinion.

As a fellow snow grower upper what I’m hearing you say is “let’s cancel winter” correct? 🤣👏🏻

Also winter is great for drifting because you don’t burn your tires off

Cold and snow are in fact great things. They keep invasive species away. (I assume Alaska is even better, but sadly I am not a citizen of the USA)

QE2 has gotten really bad recently.

Nah … you have to embrace all of her … the good, the great and the winter!!! lol.

Is this Edmonton?

@Murdletheturtl2 Yes!

The problems with Alberta (aside from any obligatory Oiler/Flames sniping) are black and white. Black Ice and White-out conditions. Other than that? No problem.

That just helps keep out the softies :)

Stayed in today, screw that

Meanwhile in #calgary

Stay down there do not go to Edmonton 🤣🤣

Only for weddings and funerals 🥴

@Christy4Change Well, Calgary did not look like that yesterday!

@Christy4Change 🤨

@JayMcDouall Sorry I thought you were replying to me 🤣🙏🏻

Lucky the Alberta government is getting ready to raise the speed limit on the QE2 from 110 km/h to 120 km/h. That should make these pile ups even more exciting next winter. Schlumberger used to ask before every drive, "Is this trip necessary?" Definitely not today.

That’s ledcor. They cheap out. This is the result.

Retards playing with their phones instead of concentrating on driving? Exhibit A: This video.

When I started driving 40 years ago if it was storming bad and you had to travel to work traffic was very light and most drove sensible, now it’s go like heck regardless of conditions

Oh sweetheart there’s way more than one problem with Alberta
