I never thought I’d talk about this. Honestly, I still don’t know if I’m ready. But saying something—even a fragment—feels like a massive exhale after holding my breath for years. I know people will be frustrated that we didn’t say more. I get it. Believe me, I do. For me, speaking about this isn’t about rehashing the past—it’s about reclaiming my voice. Over the last couple of years, people have continued to assume that I still stand with things and people I absolutely don’t. I’ve stayed quiet because I didn’t want to feed the chaos, and I wanted to keep the people I love safe. But silence can start to sound like consent, and that’s something I can’t live with anymore. It’s my belief, based on disturbing personal experience, that most of what passes for “the field of ufology” is theater. That’s why I backed away. What Jay and I went through in the fall of 2023 taught me that the closer you get to the machinery of institutional secrecy, the further you get from the truth. It’s a distraction—a laser pointer that keeps us chasing shadows like house cats while the real thing stands right beside us. The phenomenon can’t be hidden. It’s alive in us—in the human and the real. The only hope that system has is to manipulate us so badly that we stop trusting what we see, what we feel, what we know. I’m done giving it that power. 9/10 founders would have built this AI Robo Chef in China. Yatin Varachhia spent 5 years building it in India. It started with a simple problem. While living abroad, he missed the Gujarati food he grew up eating. That led to Let's Nosh. A machine that can cook 600+ Indian recipes at the push of a button. The product itself is genuinely impressive. But what stands out even more is the commitment behind it. Made-in-India design. Made-in-India tooling. Made-in-India moulds. Even the main PCB is made in India. The easy path would have been to manufacture elsewhere. The harder path was to build the ecosystem here. Yatin chose the harder path. Today, NOSH is selling in the US and gaining traction in Bharat. Yesterday, it was a pleasure hosting Yatin at Topsail. We had some great conversations around product development and manufacturing, and we're excited about the possibility of building more together in the future. India needs more founders willing to take the difficult road. Let's Build in Bharat for the World.

My usual #SundayWanderer post is about incredible landscapes and journeys across the country. This one is a departure. Well, it is about a journey, but about a commuter’s journey. Although Mumbai, has always had public transport that was arguably the best in India, it’s gratifying to see it beginning to get the world-beating public transport it deserves. (Bravo Ashwini Bhide ) So wander over to Mumbai. A city that never stops moving….

Even though we say we created a “company,” we just used that word because it’s easier for people to understand. But in the end, it’s not really about the company, it’s about the people. Like, who you work with. And what kind of experiences you share with them, that’s what really matters the most. So with these people, whether we go, volunteering or travel somewhere, we always move together as one group. Because if not and later on, when I write and release a song, if we hadn’t shared those experiences, I’d have to explain everything. Like, “I went somewhere and had this kind of experience…” But since we’ve all lived it together, I can just say, “Hey, I wrote this kind of song this time,” and they’ll be like, “Oh, yeah, I get it. I know exactly what that is.” It just makes everything so much faster, right?”

Akon talked about his experience meeting Michael Jackson, saying he had the craziest entrance to his house he had ever seen in his life—he felt like he was in a movie on the way there 👀😳 “I don’t know if I’m even supposed to be talking about this but there’s a entrance where you don’t even see off the road it’s almost like the street kind of lifts up, you go in, and it falls back down… it’s like a tunnel and it goes straight to an elevator… we get into the elevator and there’s only 1 button that takes you to the top floor… then there’s a long hallway and at the end there’s these double doors… I walk in and Michael’s sitting there back facing me on his chair and he spins around… it was like we knew eachother for a thousand years… we knew everything about eachother”
