a comment on my post said that showing up for dustin has always been so easy. it’s not something you have to think about; it’s something you do willingly, because supporting him just feels right. there’s something about him that makes you want to cheer for him, see him happy, and be there for him, like it’s exactly what your heart wants to do. just look at him, how could anyone resist loving someone this good?

They’ll wonder what could possibly be challenging about it. But do you know what kind of mental state it takes to push something that weighs twice as much as you do? Do you know what that person might be going through in life? What this means to them? You don’t, otherwise you wouldn’t be asking that question.
