How many people end up getting banned from being a delivery driver for these apps? Years ago I built an Uber Eats app (before Uber) and we tried to launch that (unsuccessfully) because our biggest hurdle was finding trustworthy and responsible drivers. All the tech was working but the drivers were doing stupid things like accepting order deliveries, picking them up and then going MIA. One driver picked up a large meal from an Italian place and then parked in Walmart parking lot. There I was, watching him on our monitor and he wasn't moving. An hour later he texted our dispatch to say he lost the customer's order. I was done, we thought we had all our ducks in a row but it turned out, what we thought was the easiest part, turned into what killed us. Incompetent, uneducated dimwits.
